What Would You Die For? By Bahia Shehab
2016 Queen Mathilde Cultural Laureate Bahia Shehab used Arabic calligraphic traditions to create street art in the Egyptian uprising a decade ago. She reflects on the loss of access to public spaces during the pandemic and before, and how her projects have changed in ten years, while her concerns remain the same.
Originally commissioned and produced by the Queen Mathilde Cultural Fund for its 25th Anniversary Festival: 25 Years 25 Hours.
