The 25th Hour: New Beginnings
Watch the final hour of our 25-hour Festival where we celebrate new beginnings! We take you to the Royal Palace, Amsterdam, where our Honorary Chair, HRH Prince Constantijn greets us along with the Artistic Director Keng Sen Ong. Carlou D, the memorable star of the Queen Mathilde Cultural Fund production of "Bintou Were: A Sahel Opera", performs from Senegal, while, for the first time ever, you get to meet six of the 2021 Queen Mathilde Cultural Seed Award recipients who showcase their work from around the globe.

Sunday Ozegbe Obiajulu
a dancer, activist and creative from Nigeria. Through his work he focuses on bringing the style of dance activism to the fore.
Abdoul Mujyambere
a multi-disciplinary artist born and based in Rwanda, engaging with the themes of memory, beauty, and identity to faithfully represent his personal values as well as that of his community.
Rada Akbar
an artist from Afghanistan, focusing on re-examining history and gender equality in her country through her work in fashion, design and visual art.
Rafael Manuel
an audio-visual artist from the Philippines, focusing on the exploration of specific milieus present in his country as microcosms of a more general and underlaying postcolonial reality that is endemic to developing countries around the world.
Marianne Fahmy
a visual artist based in Alexandria, Egypt. Her projects address the dream of new land or alternative space, where the notion of nationalism and identity is tackled.
Mamy Victory
an artist and rapper based in Senegal. In the male-dominated rap industry, Mamy Victory focuses on gender equality and female leadership to inspire girls and women in Senegal and beyond.
