The BaMu Arts Foundation, recently established by 2013 Queen Mathilde Cultural Laureate Zanele Muholi and Dr. Bajabulile La Dhlamini-Sidzumo, makes art accessible to rural black children and offers young artists opportunities to explore their talent. Projects promote art education and representation in South Africa. Next, a film of the opening of Zanele’s latest solo exhibit at the Stevenson Gallery, Cape Town, shows new directions in Zanele’s visual activism.
The movie was available to watch during the Festival on 8-9 December only.
