We're Supported by the Belgian Postcode Lottery
The Queen Mathilde Cultural Fund is delighted with the decision of the Supervisory Board of the Belgian Postcode Lottery to renew its collaboration with the Fund as of 1 January 2021 for a period of five years!

Now, with the world suffering from the consequences of the COVID pandemic, the support of the Belgian Postcode Lottery is of even greater importance. The Queen Mathilde Cultural Fund is especially proud of this recognition, which will ensure that during this difficult time the Fund can continue to make a significant contribution to arts and culture internationally by supporting creative individuals who have a positive impact on their societies.
The support of the Belgian Postcode Lottery is essential for the Queen Mathilde Cultural Fund's work in the field of culture and development. Since 2001, the Lottery has generously contributed €500,000 annually to the Fund. In 2019, the Lottery announced it would support the Fund's project 'Amplifying Creative Voices' for an additional €1.305 million. The Fund is grateful to have also received additional funding in past years for the Cultural Defiance Fund (supporting artists in conflict situations), the Sahel Opera (an operatic production of music from the Sahel region), and its Cultural Emergency Response programme (the Fund’s ‘ambulance’ for cultural heritage under threat).
